TWEA President Ibrahim Erden participated as a speaker in the 'Renewable Energy for Carbon-Free Turkey in 2053' panel within the scope of the "WEC Speeches" organized by the Turkish National Committee of the World Energy Council today at the Sheraton Hotel Ankara. In the session moderated by IICEC Director Bora Şekip Güray and Limak Holding Chairman of the Board Ebru Özdemir, EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) Turkey Managing Director Arvid Tuerkner and Lightsource BP CEO Nick Boyle were also speakers. In this session, Erden noted that in the field of energy, new production capacities are currently developing in Europe, Turkey and the countries in the region, and that the governments in these regions are investing heavily in wind and solar. İbrahim Erden pointed that Turkey will attract more international investors in these areas in the next 10 years and that Europe will become a new partner not only in the supply of natural gas, but also in the field of renewable energy through its significant production capacity and strong supply chain (TÜREB)
