Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant received "operation permit"

The Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NDK) granted the "Commissioning Permit" required to commission the first power unit to Akkuyu Nükleer A.Ş., which carries out the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (NGP) construction project. Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant consists of 4 units.

The installed power of each unit is 1,200 MW. Akkuyu is Türkiye's first nuclear power plant.
